The wreck of the Giannis D. sunk in the Red Sea

Giannis D. is one of the mythical wrecks of the north of the Red Sea. This Greek cargo liner ran up against the reef of Abu Nawas in April 1983 and spent two weeks to sink while breaking into two. The wreck is lying on the side on a 28 depth meters bottom. The poop is intact as well as the engine room. The boat transported wood.
To do this photograph we waited ten minutes so that there are no more visible divers. It is certainly one of the wrecks most visited in the Red Sea. The day when we dove, there were at least two hundred divers despite of a swell of 1,5 meters. We moved away on sand and we waited this magic moment where we have the impression that the wreck belongs to us completely.
