A Periclimenes sp. shrimp in the waters of Ploumanach, North Brittany

A Periclimenes sp. shrimp hiding in an anemone off the coast of Ploumanach in North of Brittany in France. We had never had the chance to see one and without the help of our underwater guide, we could never have been able to take that shot. Just few millimeters long, very cowardly, it often hides in Anemonia viridis. It took us several years of diving in Brittany to see these small shrimps we did even not suspect the existence. When our underwater guide spoke to us about this species, we looked several tens of anemones before finding a shrimp. We needed a lot of time and of patience because it was very frightened by our camera, we have played a hide and seek game for several minutes. But persistence ended up paying.
