Landscapes of Death Valley, California, USA
Death Valley is a vast desert area of 13,600 km2. The bottom of the valley in Bad Water is 85 meters below the level of the sea. Mount Whitney rises meanwhile to 4400 meters. The elevation changes are very impressive. Death Valley holds another record: the highest recorded heat on the surface of the globe with nearly 57 degrees Celsius.
But for photographers, Death Valley is not only synonymous of records. It is primarily a special place for those who love photographing landscapes. The diversity is absolutely amazing. Mesquite Sand Dunes with its huge sand dunes, Zabriskie Point with its ocher and red colors, the Route des Artistes and incredible colors as if a mad painter had wanted to paint the mountains. Death Valley is an amazing place to take photos that cannot be done anywhere else as "the moving stones" at Race Track. This phenomenon takes place on a dry lake. An explanation seems to have been found but it is not unanimous. It seems that the stones still retain their secret for a long time.
The main difficulty to photograph Death Valley is to make some previews to be well placed when the light is good. The ideal is to have grazing in the early morning or late afternoon light. The area is so large that it takes several hours to move and place equipment properly. Death Valley requires several days to be photographed properly. But the photos are amazing.
Spaces are available for these photo trips
We are fascinated and passionate about the beauties of nature. We love to see the landscapes and observe wild animals whether on land or underwater. We have chosen to become professional photographers to share the emotions we feel when we observe nature whether it be on land or underwater. Our goal is to create art with our photographs. We always try to transform the banal into a contemplative and artistic interpretation.
We are wildlife professional photographers, landscape professional photographers and underwater professional photographers. We also strive to document nature with a focus on conservation and education.
We make art prints from our artistic photographs. These art prints are available on our website. We make exhibitions to show all the beauties and the incredible richness of nature that surrounds us.
We also love to share our love for the beauties of nature with other photographers. To communicate our know-how and to exchange our techniques and our points of view, we organize wildlife photography workshops, underwater photography workshops and landscape photography workshops. We gather together people who have the same passion as us for the beautiful photographs taken in nature.
