“Infinity” – A Collection of Fine Art Photos in Shades of Blacks and Whites
Infinity is limitless in space and time.
We experience this notion of infinity when we contemplate the horizon of a coastal landscape.
It is then that we feel as miniscule as a few grains of dust in front of a vast immensity. We have the impression of being a small cog in a mysterious system of which we know little. We know the physical laws that govern the land, tides, and the weather phenomena. And yet, when we look at the infinite, we continually wonder how we as humans came to exist. Where is the beginning? Where will the end be? How did we come to this level of certainty when we know nothing of what is essential? Are we alone in the universe?
For us, the contemplation of the infinite is, above all things, a particular state in which we ask ourselves metaphysical and existential questions. Contemplation of the infinite brings us back to basics where we focus on our main principles of life.
For this collection of art photography devoted to infinity, we chose the style of shades of blacks and whites. Thus, we can focus on the essentials without getting lost in material divagations that would make us forget the foundations of our existence.
