Photo series and recent work

Our work, as professional photographers who love the beauties of nature, revolves around two central themes: photography workshops and fine art photography.

Photography workshops are a way for us to share our love for the field of nature photography with other photographers.

Fine art photography is a way for us to express the emotions we feel when we contemplate nature. In order to do this, we have chosen an artistic and contemplative approach to photography.

We are constantly searching for new ways to express the emotions we feel towards nature. Our artistic research forces us to explore new directions in photography. Some will, perhaps, never lead to concrete projects. Others will often lead us to create new collections of art photographs.

As photographic artists, we must limit our field of research and investigation to a few large photo projects. These projects will be in the form of art photograph collections. We must be careful not to get scattered in our research because the multiplicity of projects is a real danger. We would end up producing both classical and common works.

We believe that perseverance and patience are the best virtues of a nature photographer. Indeed, they allow the nature photographer to discover the mystery of a scene of a region and to sublimate them through his or her photographic work.

Moreover, experience has always confirmed that it is impossible to grasp the beauties and the soul of a region during a single journey. It is necessary to return without ceasing, to understand, to seize, and to refine the vision. When shooting, the seasons can be different; the weather gives different lights even during the same day. For example, it is one of the reasons why we always push our research further in the United States or Charente-Maritime, whether for landscapes or for animals.

We felt that it was important to include our current photography projects and recent work on our website, and, to accomplish this goal, we have chosen to write articles which are illustrated with photos.

This section is an indispensable tool for explaining the basis of our approach to photography as well as our artistic vision.
