Shades of Black and White: Purple Herons – A Collection of Fine Art Photos in Shades of Blacks and Whites
As wildlife professional photographers, we forever have a passion for wetlands whether for the landscapes or animals that live there. Migratory birds are among the most common species in these areas, which are often infested with mosquitoes.
Purple herons are an emblematic species for many wildlife photographers. We have dedicated a collection of lights and colors art photographs to them.
This time, we chose to create a black and white series to better showcase these graceful birds when they are hunting or flying.
Photographing a purple heron is not an easy task. Being a migratory bird, the purple heron is very silent when flying, and it is also suspicious of humans. All our photos were made from floating blinds in different wetlands. In a floating blind, the photographer spends his time looking in front of him through a small skylight. Only after long hours of patience, is it possible for a photographer to grasp the attitudes of a purple heron.
Wildlife photography is a true test of our patience. But how satisfied we are when we can grasp unique moments, especially when we are able to create exquisite art prints made from our artistic photographs.
As experienced nature photographers, experience has taught us that it takes a long time to make beautiful artistic photographs. This series does not deviate from our rule. More than 5 years of work have been necessary to make these wildlife pictures.
Indeed, on the field, we must respect the rules of our artistic vision. Despite our knowledge in wildlife photography, each year we continue to learn new things about the behavior of animals and their habits. We also learn how to better photograph them within their natural habitat. It is through this experience that we can communicate through our photographs of art.
As wildlife professional photographers, we attach significant importance to the construction of our art photographs.
All these photos are available on Masonite or framed. As photographic artists, we try to produce unique pieces of art. These purple herons are available for sale in our online art collections or in the art galleries affiliated with us.
