Recognition for a photo safari with the sailfish sardine run on Isla Mujers February/March 2012.

From February 25 to March 2, 2012, we went to check the sardine run with sailfish off the coast of the island of Isla Mujeres in northern Mexico. Each year during January, February and March, school ofsailfish come to hunt the large schools of sardines. This is the season that the currents coming from South America spoof of large amounts of plankton that feed on sardines. This is a providential mane for sailfish, bonitos, dolphins and whale sharks.
As the recognition in the cenotes, we spent 6 full days to recognize the waters of Isla Mujeres to check and to see that we could organize an underwater photo safari in 2013. For sure, this recognition was beyond our expectations. This was certainly the most outstanding diving trip we have ever lived.
The adrenaline shots were intense at every jump and every time we saw a hunt. The speed of sailfish is staggering. The technique to surround a ball of sardines is quite remarkable. Hunting is perfectly organized, thought. Each fish has a role that has been fully defined. These six days were intense. The first two night were difficult because the adrenaline rate was so strong in our blood that the excitement could hardly disappear even after dark when we went to sleep.
This recognition has been crowned with such success that we booked a boat for a unique safari we will organize in February 2013.
