September 2015. Wildlife photo project about the bellowing of the deer

September 2015. We continue to work on our photo project dedicated to the great Europeans mammals. As every year, we spent several days photographing the bellowing of the red deer.

This year we have clearly chosen a purely artistic approach consistent with our photographic vision. We have deliberately chosen not to make naturalistic pictures. The photographs show that we selected deer in very wide shots where scenes are enhanced by the remarkable lights. We also clearly chosen minimalist décors showcasing animals.

Our images evoke the beauties of nature by bringing serenity, peacefulness and tranquility of the places. It is rather paradoxical for this animal behavioral event that is the call of the deer. But it is the time of year where stags are beautiful and aesthetic.

Their dewlap is well developed with a lot of hair; antlers are dry and imposing. Stags are fat and they show their power.

The goal of the artistic approach of this series is just to show our feelings about the beauties of nature through exceptional autumnal lights.
