September 2015. Underwater photo project in the Red Sea
September 2015. For two weeks, we went to dive and photograph the underwater beauties of the Red Sea. These photographs respect our photographic vision. All the pictures have been realized with wide angle lenses.
We dived the most impressive drop offs of the Red Sea like Shark Reef or Brothers islands. We also photographed the legendary wrecks of the Red Sea as the Thistlegorm, the Rosalie Moller or the Ghiannis D.
All photographs of wrecks have been developed in black and white to accentuate the ethereal and dreamlike atmospheres side.
We were surprised to find colonies of corals in good condition. They continue to grow. The explanation is perhaps fewer divers. The dive sites were very poorly attended. For example, when we dived the wreck of the Thistlegorm, there were only 3 diving boats as we have experienced days with more than 15 boats. We feel that the seabed of the Red Sea once again become as we had known there about 20 years. The schools of fish are more numerous, soft and hard corals are more colorful and larger than in previous years.
The splendor and the beauty of the seabeds of the Red Sea are back.
