Do you get the impression that a lot of human relationships are fake, self-serving? Do you feel the insincerity of some people you meet or know?
I am like you. I have the feeling that in our modern societies, human relationships and our behavior with others are increasingly based on illusions.
The definition of an illusion is the following: a false interpretation of what we perceive / misleading appearance outside of reality.
You have certainly already experienced being bothered, tired without being able to evoke it. Indeed, it is good form to put forward our full form when we feel the opposite.
You may have already experienced the feeling that most of the people you hear about in the media or simply meet, have a perfect life, without any pitfalls, that everything is working out for them. It is by scratching the varnish of appearance that we observe the game of illusion.
Is it good? Is it wrong? The question remains unanswered. The answer depends on each one of us.
Personally, since I have been working as a photographer artist, I am committed to being true, in total harmony with my moral and ethical values. I commit myself to develop in the exchange, the respect of the other and to cultivate empathy.
Life is sometimes rough. Before reaching a goal, we may struggle, encounter difficulties, have the desire to believe in the mirage. However, illusions offer little, they do not solve anything. In a smooth reflection, without asperity, they do not allow us to build solid foundations.
Living in illusion can cause crashes and irreparable falls. Isn't it healthier to live simply without hiding behind appearances?
To help you find answers to this essential question, I have created this collection of art prints of nature entitled "Illusions in lights and colors". It symbolizes certain human behaviors.
All these art photographs were created from reflections of trees on the surface of the water. The tree symbolizes rooting, stability, anchoring. Having become blurred, it nevertheless remains omnipresent. We can guess it; we can see it. Trunks and foliage are on the surface of the water, reflections of themselves in color. The image reflected on the water is distorted, in a smooth reflection, without asperity. The illusion is nourished and draws its strength from the blur.
I have created this collection of art photographs in natural light, to remind you never to let yourself be seduced by the song of larks. Illusions and mirages can make you dream for a moment but do not make you live.
