February 20th, 2014. Black and white landscape photo project in Monahans, Texas, USA
February 20, 2014. We continue our landscape photo project of Texas. We are in Monahans in the center Texas. The region is a vast area of sand dunes. Monahans is a city that knows a new prosperity due to oil extraction by the technique of fractionning. Fortunately, the dunes have remained healthy despite invasion of oil pumps. Sand landscapes stretche of square kilometers. The dunes are in excellent condition as they are colonized by deep-rooted grasses that prevent erosion.
