Squall of red deers in Charente-Maritime, western France

Musical slidehow created with photographs of squall of red deers in Charente-Maritime, western France. Created by Amar and Isabelle Guillen.

The squall of red deers is one of the most interesting animal behavior of the forests of Charente-Maritime, western region of France. The department is very heavily wooded from the Coubre forest in north of Royan to Clérac in the south through the large area of Saint-Genis de Saintonge. Although red deers are numerous, they are very difficult to find and photograph. The slab is one of the best times to find because we are guided by the cries. When a scene is located, the show is awesome. The deer is undoubtedly the king of the forest.
