"The Mirror of the Soul" – Collection of Fine Art Photographs

The Story of the Collection
The popular saying that "the eyes are the mirror of the soul" implies that the eyes are the most expressive part of the face. It is as if they speak their own language.
For me as photographer passionate about the wonders of nature, it is the underwater reflections that best symbolize the states of human souls. I photograph them in all the seas of the world when visibility is clear. I often photographs scenes just a few meters below the surface to find symbolic representations of the human soul.
I believe that the roll of a wave that strikes a highland represents anger and fury.
The still reflection of a coral colony represents tranquility, serenity, calm, fullness. Nothing can disturb me. I am in contemplation.
Some waves in the distance on a reef evoke attention and concentration.
The lines of light crossing the surface of the calm water represent introspection and the search of oneself.
The underwater world has a very strong symbolic strength. When I dive, I spend vast lengths of time in zero gravity, searching for answers to my essential questions. I find these answers in water, which is our primary element. As humans, we stayed in water for several months before being born. The underwater world is simply a return to one of the original sources of life.
