Black and White Symbolic Fine Art Prints: “Infinity”

Infinity is limitless in space and time.

I experience this notion of infinity when I contemplate the horizon of a coastal landscape.

It is then that I feel as miniscule as a few grains of dust in front of a vast immensity. I have the impression of being a small cog in a mysterious system of which I know little. I know the physical laws that govern the land, tides, and the weather phenomena. And yet, when I look at the infinite, I continually wonder how we as humans came to exist. Where is the beginning? Where will the end be? How did we come to this level of certainty when we know nothing of what is essential? Are we alone in the universe?

For me, the contemplation of the infinite is, above all things, a particular state in which I ask myself metaphysical and existential questions. Contemplation of the infinite brings me back to basics where I focus on my main principles of life.

For this collection of art photography devoted to infinity, I chose my style of shades of blacks and whites. Thus, I can focus on the essentials without getting lost in material divagations that would make me forget the foundations of my existence.
