Abstract Fine Art Photos of Nature: "The Marks of Time"

The Story of the Collection
During a trip to Colorado in the United States, I decided to spend a few days to photograph the landscapes around the town of Ouray. Indeed, the city is surrounded by mountains and woods. A spectacular hiking trail allows you to discover waterfalls, clearings, and extraordinary mineral landscapes.
The first two hikes were devoted to scouting. On the third hike, while I was photographing a waterfall, another hiker approached me to see if I was okay. It is a habit when exploring or hiking alone in the United States to ask if you are okay when you meet another person alone on the trail.
During our talk, he told me that Ouray was known for some rock formations that had been dated at 1.7 billion years old. That evening, after my photo session, I went to a store that sold rocks and geological souvenirs. There I met a true scholar on the subject. The owner of the store confirmed that such rock formations existed and that they could easily be photographed.
The next day, I decided to go and observe these rock faces. At that moment, my interest was not photographic. I was simply curious to observe and see such old rocks. I had never had such an opportunity.
When I arrived at the place, I discovered an immense rocky facade covered with striations that looked like immense scars. It was also studded with spots and marks. The energy that came from it was incredible. I felt alive. Immediately, I had the idea of photographing these shapes to create a collection of art photos that I would call 'the marks of time.'
These art photographs are abstract. Symbolically, I see marks left by time on these rock faces, like those long and deep wrinkles etched into the faces of those old people you may know and love. Such is the passage of time.
You can hang these pictures in your living room, your living room, or your professional space. You can contemplate them and try to imagine the secrets they conceal. They will make you want to reflect on your life and realize how much you have accomplished so far.
I wish you a calming introspective journey.
