The Story of the Collection
The passage of time is an obsession for me. I feel that the days are not long enough to accomplish everything I want to complete.
When I look at all the years that have gone by, I can measure how far I have come from the time when I was in the wheat fields or when I was having a picnic with friends on a biking trip. I remember these experiences.
I do not feel nostalgia for past events. I sometimes lack melancholy when I think of my frantic races in the meadows. I now live in sprawling urban cities where nature has totally disappeared. I discover nature again when I travel.
In nature, the passing of time symbolized by the waterfalls. The flow of the water is incessant and uninterrupted. A cascade that flows unceasingly resembles the passage of time-nothing can stop it. Sometimes this flow is impetuous and violent. Sometimes it flows gently. These cascades create a living image of life that winds its way slowly through both sadness and joy.
What is fascinating in a waterfall found in nature is that I never know where the water comes from and where it may be going. This wonderfully represents life. It causes me to change without a set destination. I do not know where it may take me.
This collection of art photos was created in my "lights and colors" style. The color accentuates the fragility of life. It especially tells me that things should not be taken seriously because the movement of time will stop one day, and all things will become irrelevant and nonimportant. It is necessary to profit as much as possible from the current moment without asking questions. One must simply enjoy each second without worrying about the future.
