I took this photo from the heights of Lake Magadi in Kenya. My Kenyan guide knew of a special spot where I could photograph flamingos against the light. In the project I had imagined, I wanted to evoke musical notes on water. That was my project. When I arrived after a difficult crossing of some very chaotic paths, the scene offered itself to me. I knew I was finally going to take the photo I wanted.
I imagined myself carried away by a visual melody, where each note is a delicate feather caressing the surface of a peaceful lake. I was immersed in the dreamlike world of “Symphony in Black and White”, a work that transcends time and space. It invited me to reflect deeply and serenely.
