The beach of Arromanches in Normandy
Only the half immersed pontoons, from a few hundred meters of the beach of Arromanches in Normandy, North of France, recall us all the sufferings endured by men who did not even know France, during the terrible fights of June 1944. How to imagine in this haven of peace just disturbed by the gulls shouting and the undertow of the waves, that of so much of people lost their life. The landscape photography has often the magic to mask us all the coldness, the hardness of the real world and the madness devastator of the men. Nature has this gift all to sweep and make that the life continues as if nothing had never occurred.
