The Story of the Collection
Castle Valley - Mother Nature's Wilderness Beauty. It is located about 20 miles (32km) north of Moab in Utah. It is not a national park or a national monument. The area is crossed by the Colorado River.
Rugged landscapes, red rock towers, castle rock peaks, and massive rock walls are the soul of this area. The Colorado river is the most precious asset that spreads peaceful vistas and creates a wonderful contrast between desert landscapes and lush greenery.
Like a hidden gem, the castle valley is enriched with untouched natural beauty that builds an inner connection between nature and humans. In this black-and-white landscape collection, I portray the valley's mesmerized beauty and the core relation with our soul.
What the human eye sees is an illusion of what is real. The black and white image transforms illusions into another reality.

Black and white photography is timeless that allows you to focus on the core and evoke you to discover the hidden glory and meaning. For me, this is a way to see the world in its real look that awakens new imagination and creative thoughts. I want to discover nature's beautiful fauna, wildlife, and untouched story. With black and white, I find the way and can focus on the more fundamental aspects. It conveys mood and emotion that give you a realistic experience of feeling the moment or place.
If you want to be a witness of time passing and how it forms its dignity over decades, you can head over at least once during your time in Moab. Like me, you can the landscapes to find inspiration and feel the vast area serenity. It is also a place where you can escape into an oasis of peace and tranquility.
All of my fine art photography evokes a journey, a trip. They nurture and encourage you to be there and discover the wonders of nature by yourself. As you can see in the collection, the first part is dedicated to the buttes. They have a symbolic meaning that evokes a person who manages to stay upright in adversity. No matter what happens and how big the problem is. That person manages to remain dignified and proud to achieve the goals of his/her life.
You might notice the cloudy and very dark sky glory. It symbolizes the difficulties of life and the adventures we have to face in our daily life. We can't ignore it and have no choice, but we can manage or balance it to stay on our feet, to achieve our dreams and goals.
In the second part of my fine art collection, I highlight the struggle and the strength to live alone with all dignity. I found these trees under an arch near a river. In this arid environment, it is like an oasis where trees grow even if there is not much land. Again, these trees symbolize the strength we need to develop every day to achieve our dreams and finalize our way in every step.
