If you look at the definition of the word “energy” in Wikipedia, you will find that energy is a concept related to action, strength, and duration. The implementation of an action requires the maintenance of a certain force for a sufficient length of time to overcome inertia and resistance to change.

If you search for a definition of time, you will find that time is a concept that accounts for change in the world.

In our materialistic world, time is a given. We cannot weigh it. We can only evaluate it from its starting point and its end point. It does not generate “energy” in the literal sense of the word.

And yet, time is a symbolical source of energy, especially for artists, like myself. This is because with time, we create a product. The more I move forward in my life, the more energy resonates within me. I spring into action to start new projects and fulfill my childhood dreams. Time gives me energy. Every morning, when I wake up, I have a thousand ideas in my head. I am bubbling. I am already thinking about all the actions I will accomplish during the day. A mere 24 hours already seems too short for everything I have decided to accomplish. A similar feeling occurs when I decide to carry out a new project. With each passing day, I have more and more creative energy as the project progresses.

For a long time, I have searched for a way to materialize this energy within me. I want to channel it in the best way possible when I create art photographs or when I share my knowledge and skills.

Finally, by the greatest of chances, I realized that petrified trees, which are more than 200 million years old, are a perfect medium for my collection. This idea occurred during a trip to Petrified Forest in the state of Arizona in the United States. On this trip, I photographed the rings of different trees and then applied a few filters of my own creation.
